A West Village barbershop game. Once it's off, it's off.
The short version: Bad Barber collects nothing. The whole game happens on your phone. It never goes online, there's no account, and the only one watching is the guy in the chair.
Bad Barber keeps your career in its own private storage on your phone:
That's it. None of it is sent anywhere, and deleting the game deletes it. If you back your phone up, the backup may take it along, like any app's data: your iCloud backup on iPhone, or your backup to your Google account on Android. That's between you and Apple or Google: we never see it.
Tap Share on a result card and the game draws a before and after picture of your customer and hands it to your phone's share sheet, where you pick what happens to it. It only happens when you tap it. To hand it over, the game puts the picture in its own cache on your phone, which your phone clears out on its own.
Nothing asks for your camera, microphone, location or contacts, and Bad Barber can't see your photos.
On iPhone: one question, and only if you ask for it. Pick Save Image in the share sheet and iOS asks whether Bad Barber may add to your photos. That's add-only: it can put the picture in, but it can't see, read or change anything in your library, not even the pictures it put there. You can turn it off any time in Settings → Bad Barber → Photos.
On Android: none that ask you anything. Android lists internet access for the game, because it's built on Android's web view, which comes with it. Bad Barber doesn't use it.
On both, everything the game needs is inside the app, and it plays the same in flight mode.
Every customer who sits in your chair is made up by the game. No real people's faces, and no photos of you.
Bad Barber isn't made for children, but it's fine for all ages (cut a customer too short and he just stares at you). It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version of Bad Barber changes any of this, this page and the game's privacy details in the store (the App Privacy section on the App Store, the data safety section on Google Play) will be updated before that version comes out, with a new date below.
