The short version: Wallfold collects nothing. It doesn't even have internet access, so it couldn't send anything anywhere if it tried. It just sits behind your icons and looks nice.
On Android: none. Wallfold doesn't ask for internet, storage, location, contacts, your camera or anything else. Android sets it as your wallpaper through its own wallpaper picker.
On iPhone: one, and only when you ask for it. iPhones don't do live wallpapers, so the iPhone app saves the piece you pick to your Photos, as a Live Photo or a still, for you to set from your Lock Screen. The first time you save one, iOS asks whether Wallfold may add to your photo library. That's add-only access: Wallfold can put new pictures in, but it can't see, read or change anything that's already there, including the ones it made. You can turn it off any time in Settings → Wallfold → Photos.
When you tilt your phone, the layers lean. To do that, Wallfold reads your phone's motion sensors (rotation and gravity) while a piece is on screen. Each reading is used to draw the next frame, then it's gone. Readings are never stored or sent anywhere, and Wallfold stops listening as soon as the art is out of sight.
Wallfold remembers a few things in its own private storage:
None of this leaves your phone, and it's all deleted when you uninstall the app. On Android it isn't even backed up to the cloud; on iPhone it can ride along in your own iPhone backup, like any app's settings.
The Live Photos and stills you save on iPhone are ordinary photos in your library, yours to keep, share or delete. Wallfold can't see them once they're saved.
Wallfold is fine for all ages. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version of Wallfold changes any of this (ads, say), this page and the app's store privacy details (the data safety section on Google Play, the privacy label on the App Store) will be updated before that version comes out, with a new date below.
